Paul Campbell is the founder of Hill Capital Partners LLP, the vehicle through which he carries out private investment and advisory roles across the leisure and hospitality sectors.
Having formerly created, grown and successfully sold several businesses of his own Paul today works with ambitious entrepreneurs, Boards and fellow investors who are looking to significantly expand their businesses. He invests directly and will also co-invest with other funds and institutions.
Paul is currently an investor in and sits on the Boards as Chairman/NED of a number of respected and rapidly growing businesses.
Olivier Bossard is Professor of Finance and Executive Director of the MSc Finance at HEC Paris.
Olivier graduated as an Engineer from Ecole Centrale Paris (Diplôme d’ingénieur de l’ECP / MSc in Applied Mathematics, 1991), and subsequently studied in Japan where he earned a second MSc in Applied Maths from Yokohama National University, in 1993.
He has been working in the Financial Markets industry for over two decades in Paris, London and Frankfurt.
After starting his career at Société Générale Paris as a Derivatives Trader on Fixed Income, Olivier moved to London to lead the complete build-out of the Exotics and Structured Trading desk at Intesa San Paolo Bank, across both Fixed Income and Equity Divisions.
Olivier Bossard then spent over 10 years (from 1998 to 2008) at Lehman Brothers, where he was Managing Director and Member of the Global Equities Management Committee.
For over 10 years, he developed from scratch and led the growth of Lehman’s European Equity Structured Products business. He also engineered and implemented the Financial Engineering Hub based in Mumbai, India.
In his latest role as Head of Structured Products and Exotics, Trading and Structuring, he was managing 60 resources across the platform, in Europe and Asia.
In 2010, Olivier joined Macquarie Bank to run Global Derivatives Trading ex-Asia, with teams in London, Frankfurt, Cape Town and New York.
Promoted to Senior Managing Director in 2011, he served as Co-Head of the Equity Derivatives Division EMEA, with responsibility over 85 resources across Front Office and Support functions.
Passionate about teaching, Olivier Bossard has been lecturing at HEC continuously since 1999, in parallel to his banking career. Since 2012, he now dedicates most of his time on consulting mandates and giving back to the younger generation through his involvement at HEC’s MSc in Finance.
Michael Bremner has worked in kitchens ever since leaving school in Aberdeenshire, experiencing different environments around the world before settling permanently in Brighton.
Michael opened the doors to 64 Degrees in the Lanes of Brighton in October 2013. His aim was to create a restaurant focused on social dining, where people can order several plates to share.
In 2017 he won the Great British Menu.
Since then he opened a follow-up restaurant called Murmur in the summer of 2017 on the seafront in Kings Road Arches, close to the i360 tower. The restaurant offers a different dining concept, serving fresh, honest dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a stunning beachside location.
Tim Edwards is Managing Director of Index Investment Strategy for S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI). The group provides research and commentary on S&P DJI’s entire product set, including U.S. and global equities, commodities, fixed income, and economic indices.
Prior to joining S&P DJI in 2013, Tim worked for Barclays Capital, initially within fund-linked derivatives and subsequently in exchange-traded products and index-linked derivatives. Prior to that, he worked at the Royal Institution of Great Britain.
Tim holds a Ph.D in pure mathematics from University College London.
Michael John (“MJ”) Lytle is CEO of Tabula. Previously MJ was a founding partner in Source, an investment manager focused on the creation and distribution of exchange traded funds which offer exposure to equity, fixed income and commodities. Source was purchased by Invesco in 2017. Prior to Source, MJ spent eighteen years at Morgan Stanley with a variety of roles across Corporate Finance, Capital Markets Origination, Trading, Sales, Equity, Fixed Income, Private Wealth and Technology Strategy. MJ has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Government from Dartmouth College.
Nicolas Rabener is the Managing Director of FactorResearch, which provides quantitative solutions for factor investing. Previously he founded Jackdaw Capital, an award-winning quantitative investment manager focused on equity market neutral strategies. Before that Nicolas worked at GIC (Government of Singapore Investment Corporation) in London focused on real estate investments across the capital structure. He started his career working in investment banking at Citigroup in London and New York. Nicolas holds a Master of Finance from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, is a CAIA charter holder, and enjoys endurance sports (100km Ultramarathon, Mont Blanc, Mount Kilimanjaro).
Timo is the Head of Research & Business Development at Solactive. Timo has held various management positions in London and Frankfurt. Previously, he served as Managing Director in charge of Structured Products Distribution in Europe at Deutsche Bank.
Started his career at Lazard in Mergers and Acquisitions, and went on to start and grow West Point Derivatives, an Interdealer brokerage business for banking, hedge funds, and asset manager clients which he sold in September 2013.
He now focuses on a fine patisserie concept opened in collaboration with three Michelin star experienced Chef Joakim Prat. Maitre Choux is a Choux Pastry specialist opened at various locations in London.
